About Nutrientfilm

Nutrientfilm is an independent reference for home hydroponic and soilless growing. It answers one narrow question: if you want to grow something edible at home, on a system that is quiet, small and cheap, how exactly do you build it?

Every entry on the site is one of three things. A build manual carries a complete parts list, an assembly sequence and a week-by-week maintenance table. A nutrient chart lists EC, pH and N-P-K ratio stage by stage. A maintenance calendar breaks one recurring job into dated, executable tasks.

How entries are chosen

We only write up systems we have built or that have clear engineering behind them. Parts lists carry substitutes, because the same component is named differently and is differently available depending on where you are. Figures are given as ranges rather than single numbers, because water supply, climate and nutrient brand all move the result.

What we do not do

• No sponsored parts lists and no affiliate links.
• No yield promises. The same system produces wildly different amounts under different light and climate, and that spread is larger than the difference between systems.
• No absolute diagnoses. EC and pH figures are general references; always follow the label on the product you actually own.

What is on the site

There are currently 15 published entries, with more arriving on a schedule. Entries go live as their publish dates arrive rather than being dumped all at once.
